Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This role involves working closely with children, supporting their development, and ensuring their safety and well-being while fostering a love for learning.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to track their development.
* Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and clean nursery environment.
* Support the management team in implementing policies and procedures that enhance the quality of care provided.
Skills
* Strong management and leadership abilities to guide and support staff in their roles.
* Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
* Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or events.
