To assemble a range of products to the required quality standards, and within a pre-determined timeframe.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:



13. Consistently assemble products to a high quality standard within agreed timescales using SOPs.

14. Carry out in process quality inspection.

15. Pack product as identified in the documentation.

16. Read and understand documentation, including drawings, process and manufacturing instructions, and specifications.

17. Operate relevant machinery, which may include semi-automated machinery.

18. Support Health and Safety activities and escalation of issues to Team Leader or Management.

19. Follow all Health and Safety legislation and use the Health and Safety equipment provided.

20. Support with training and training documentation when needed.

21. Support other areas of the business as demand dictates.

22. Set up for assembly departments as required.

23. Create and maintain test programs to support assembly departments as required.

24. Create and maintain testlead and boxes to support assembly departments as required.

25. Carry out such other duties that may be reasonably requested.



Experience and skills required for this position:



26. Must have experience of soldering.

27. Proven experience as an Assembly Technician or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

28. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

29. Excellent attention to detail.
