who are seeking an experienced and committed
SENCO
to join them on a
temporary basis
, starting
immediately
. This position will run until the end of the academic year, with the strong possibility of extension into the next academic year.

Primary and Secondary
needs.
The School Are Looking For Someone With:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) –
essential
NPQ SENCO
– desirable but not essential
Strong experience in a
relevant SENCO/SEND leadership role
Experience supporting pupils with
Autism (ASC) Experience working with both
Primary and Secondary
SEND needs
Team Teach
training – desirable
Confident understanding of EHCP processes, interventions and statutory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of 4+ SEN staff
Oversee SEND provision across Primary and Secondary phases
Coordinate EHCPs, reviews, assessments and support plans
Provide guidance on differentiation and tailored strategies for pupils with a range of needs
Work closely with teaching staff, SLT, external agencies and families
Support pupils with Autism using appropriate interventions and strategies
Monitor SEND progress data and adjust provision where needed
Plan and map the delivery
of interventions and SEND support programmes
Provide training and support to staff across the school
