Change Portfolio Analyst
Location: Flexible in UK
Travel: Semi regular travel to Reading, Dublin, London and Kettering
Contract: Initial 3 Months
Day Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35 if UK based)
Primark is delivering one of the most ambitious transformation agendas in retail, reshaping how we work across Buying, Supply Chain, Retail Operations, and Supplier networks. To support this, we’re looking for a Change Portfolio Analyst to join our central Change Portfolio team.
This is an ideal role for someone with experience in consulting, internal communications, PMO, change management, or stakeholder engagement, who enjoys working with senior leaders and navigating complex change environments. Exposure to retail, buying, suppliers, or supply chain/depots is a strong advantage.
You’ll help ensure change is coordinated, understood, and successfully adopted across the business.
What You’ll Do
Portfolio Strategy & Governance Support
* Support the development and maintenance of the overall change strategy
* Help prioritise initiatives based on objectives, capacity, and cumulative change load
* Contribute to portfolio reporting, dashboards, and governance materials
* Assist in managing a centralised pool of change resources
Cross‑Programme Coordination
* Track cross‑programme dependencies and cumulative change impacts
* Support portfolio‑level analysis including heat maps, impact assessments, and change‑fatigue indicators
* Help coordinate readiness activities across teams where processes span multiple domains
Communications & Engagement
* Support the creation of clear, engaging communications for senior stakeholders
* Assist with joint communications or training where audiences overlap
* Help drive knowledge‑sharing, best practices, and ways‑of‑working across portfolios
Enterprise Readiness
* Contribute to enterprise‑level cutover planning and readiness assessments
* Support documentation, reporting, and preparation for governance forums
What You’ll Bring
* Experience in consulting, PMO, internal comms, change management, or transformation
* Strong communication skills and confidence engaging senior stakeholders
* Ability to simplify complexity and present information clearly
* Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
* Experience in retail, buying, suppliers, or supply chain (advantageous)
* Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in fast‑moving environments
