A warm and ambitious Good primary in Peterborough is seeking an imaginative and experienced Nursery Teacher to join the early years team on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The appointed Nursery Teacher will attend pre-term planning before January 2026, participate in induction in January 2026, and begin teaching from January 2026 as the Nursery Teacher. This Full-Time Nursery Teacher post offers fantastic indoor and outdoor provision, a committed team of teaching assistants and a leadership body that invests in the Nursery Teacher’s professional growth from January 2026 onward.

• Nursery Teacher will receive induction, mentoring and tailored CPD in January 2026.

• Good Ofsted-rated Peterborough primary with specialist early years spaces and secure outdoor areas to support the Nursery Teacher.
• High adult-to-child ratios and a focus on language and communication development that helps the Nursery Teacher accelerate early progress.
• A structured mentoring and CPD pathway that the Nursery Teacher will begin at induction in January 2026 and continue beyond January 2026.

Nursery Teacher Responsibilities
The successful Nursery Teacher will:

* Lead language-rich continuous provision and adult-led sessions as the Nursery Teacher.
* Deliver daily early phonics, vocabulary development and early maths routines as the Nursery Teacher.
* Use observation and formative assessment to plan next steps and personalise learning as the Nursery Teacher.
* Lead transition activities into Reception, engage parents and report progress as the Nursery Teacher. The Nursery Teacher will plan before January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as the Full-Time Nursery Teacher.

Nursery Teacher Requirements
We are seeking a Nursery Teacher with QTS/EYTS (or equivalent), recent early years experience and a reflective, creative approach as the Nursery Teacher. The Nursery Teacher should be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and full teaching duties from January 2026.
