Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, caring, and experienced One-to-One Support Worker to provide tailored support to a child within our provision. The successful candidate will work closely with the child to support their individual learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
This role requires a nurturing professional who is passionate about supporting young children to reach their full potential in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
Job Type / Category
This position is full time, Monday to Friday (term-time only). This post is initially for a year, however there may be an opportunity for further employment after the year.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare (NVQ Level 2 may be considered)
* Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a childcare environment
* Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
* Paediatric First Aid qualification
* Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Previous experience in a care, support, or similar role (preferred but not always essential)
* Understanding of safeguarding and person-centred approaches
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
* Enhanced DBS / background check (or willingness to obtain one)
A full enhanced DBS will be required.
