Healthii People are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to support a friendly and well-established GP Practice in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care environment.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide general treatment room duties including wound care, immunisations and vaccinations
* Conduct long-term condition reviews such as asthma, COPD and diabetes (depending on competency)
* Perform cervical cytology (if qualified)
* Support health promotion and screening programmes
* Work collaboratively with the wider clinical team to ensure safe and effective patient care
Requirements:
* Registered Nurse with valid NMC PIN
* Previous experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting
* Confident in core nursing duties including chronic disease management, cytology and immunisations
* Strong communication and clinical assessment skills
Pay Rate:
* Up to £24 per hour (depending on experience)
Location:
* Ashford
Working Pattern:
* Full-time or part-time hours available
* Ad-hoc, ongoing or long-term placements to suit your availability
