Overview
Paradise is an established ERP reseller based in Northampton and has a mature customer base of Sage 200 sites both locally and nationally, many of which are manufacturing specific. Paradise are also a Cloud Solutions Partner and provide cloud platforms and Microsoft licencing alongside the ERP systems.
In 2025, Paradise developed a parallel business unit to sell, support and develop Business Central alongside Sage 200 and are now onboarding the first customers to this unit.
The Position
The position primarily involves the provision of first-line Business Central support to users, with rapid resolution provided to support requests along with escalation to second line Business Central specialists where required. This work will be complemented by project tasks based on the roll-out of new or upgraded BC systems. There will be occasional on-site work involving the investigation, installation or support of BC systems, but this will be rare.
Requirements
Business Central product knowledge and experience is essential, and this will be maintained and improved as necessary, including certification qualifications. No specific add-on knowledge is required, but where popular add-ons are known this will be an advantage. Examples are PowerBI, Continia, Jet Reports and similar.
A professional, friendly and positive attitude are required to work efficiently with the Paradise project, development and infrastructure teams.
Contract Arrangements
Paradise have offices at Althorp near Northampton (J18 M1) and operate a hybrid attendance model with at least one day on site at the offices each week. You would have your own workstation in the office and a laptop would be provided. We are seeking a full-time contractor, but could accommodate a part-time arrangement for the right candidate.
Contract rates are generous and will be dependent on ability and experience. Start date: as soon as convenient.
