Rullion are looking to recruit for one of out global leading clients :\n\nProject Manager\n\nLocation : Oxford\n\nAugust 2025 Start\n\nInitially 12 months (with extension or Temp to perm opportunities)\n\n£(Apply online only) Per day - Inside IR35\n\nHybrid- 3 days a week site based\n\nDepartment - MRI Magnet Technology\n\nJob Description\n\nAs a R&D / Engineering Development Project Manager, you will lead high-impact, technically complex projects with a local focus, but in a global context, driving the successful development and introduction in production of new products and technologies in a fast-paced, international agile environment. You will be responsible for strategic planning, execution, stakeholder engagement, and operational improvements, driving projects to completion on time, within budget, and to the quality standards together with global partners in Germany and China\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nYou will motivate, guide, and coach a cross functional project team fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\n\nYou will proactively identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks/issues applying appropriate tools and methodologies to ensure project success.\n\nYou will act as a key interface between international departments, ensuring external and internal requirements are effectively integrated throughout new product development and implementation. You will report on a regular basis to the senior leadership team.\n\nYou will refine project governance and engineering team structures to improve efficiency and optimize project work.\n\nYou will ensure state-of-the-art-project management methodologies and tools are applied at all stages of the project.\n\nYour background\n\nYou have professional experience leading R&D and/or engineering development projects with direct customer interaction.\n\nYou thrive in a high pace, high demand environments, consistently delivering results while managing technical complexity, shifting priorities, and stakeholder expectations.\n\nYou are comfortable in setting directions in ambiguous conditions, as well as managing complex technical details.\n\nYou can balance and manage competing demands and requirements across different functions.\n\nYou have proven record of driving projects from inception to product launch while improving product and production stability.\n\nYou effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels, from shopfloor to board of director level.\n\nYou have demonstrated success in improving project management performance within engineering or technical organization.\n\nYou are skilled at adapting and applying project management best practices as needed.\n\nYou thrive in diverse, multicultural environment, collaborating with teams across different sites and regions.\n\nYour basic qualification:\n\nDegree in a relevant Engineering, Science or Technology subject preffered but experience superceeds.\n\nProject Management certification but experience superceeds.\n\nAgile/Scrum methodology qualification\n\n5+ years of experience in Project/Program Management\n\n5+ years of experience in a highly regulated business environment\n\nYour preferred experience:\n\n5+ years of experience in MRI related competencies\n\n10+ years of NPI Project management experience in complex medical equipment or regulated industries, utilizing both waterfall and agile methodologies (team size 30+)\n\n3+ years of experience in production ramp up and product continuous improvement within manufacturing environment\n\n3+ years of expertise in engineering tools (FMEA, PFMEA, design review) and design optimisation technique (DFM, DFA) for manufacturing.\n\n3+ years of broad understanding of MRI system, components and interactions\n\n3+ years of engineering or science-based project or team leadership experience\n\n3+ years of prototype management\n\n3+ years of profitability management\n\nYour skills\n\nEmpowering and transparent leadership\n\nResilient and adaptable under pressure\n\nAnalytical and systematic thinker\n\nHighly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities\n\nExpert in simplify complexity\n\nStrategic thinker with decision making abilities\n\nCultural aware and experienced in global team collaboration.\n\nIf available please send CV and a member of the team will be in touch\n\nRullion celebrates and supports diversity and is committed to ensuring equal opportunities for both employees and applicants
