Senior Buyer
West Yorkshire | Manufacturing Permanent
We’re recruiting a Senior Buyer for a well-established UK manufacturing business. Reporting to the Head of Global Supply Chain, this role will take ownership of key commodities, supplier relationships, and cost-reduction initiatives while supporting wider supply chain improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing supplier sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, and contracts
* Owning specific commodities and mitigating supply chain risk
* Delivering cost savings and improving delivery performance
* Supporting NPI projects and production demand planning
* Creating forecasts and KPI reporting
* Supporting team leadership and process improvement initiatives
About you:
* CIPS Level 4 qualified (or working towards)
* 5+ years’ experience xsngvjr in a manufacturing purchasing environment
* Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
* Confident working in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
* Full UK driving licence
