The role
Responsibilities
Support lawyers by ensuring property recovery cases progress smoothly and costs are controlled.
Assist with the day‑to‑day progress of cases: handle documents, correspondence and case information.
Prepare bundles and briefs for experts, courts and counsel.
Maintain up‑to‑date records on the case‑management system and manage shared inboxes.
Provide financial and billing support: record time and disbursements, assist with invoicing and respond to queries.
Perform general administrative duties such as document management and photocopying.
Qualifications
Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, managing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Administrative or legal experience is desirable; a clear willingness to learn is essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate‑to‑advanced), Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Professional verbal and written communication.
Adaptability under pressure and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
