The Role:
Joining us as an Administrative Assistant, you’ll provide a warm, professional and supportive first point of contact for families, children, young people and professionals. You’ll manage front of house operations, maintain a welcoming and safe environment, uphold safeguarding and confidentiality standards and deliver efficient administrative support that enables high quality family facing services. You’ll be part of a team where your contribution matters, you’re empowered to do your best and teamwork helps everyone grow.
What you’ll do:
* Act as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and contractors, providing a professional and welcoming reception.
* Manage enquiries in person, by phone, and via the reception inbox.
* Support daily operations, including room bookings, post handling, and general administrative tasks.
* Use internal systems to record information accurately as required.
* Carry out and record building Health & Safety and statutory checks.
* Open and close the building and ensure smooth day to day facility operation.

The working week is 37 hours (part-time hours will be considered) and runs from 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 – 4:30pm on Friday. Gosport Family Centre offers family time to children and families until 7pm, so there may also be a need to work outside core hours.
Important: You must already have the right to work in the UK, as we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this role.
