We are seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our Traffic Engineering Group in York, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities may include work with traffic analysis or design teams. The analysis team performs operational analyses, develops technical solutions, and prepares reports and presentations. The design team prepares contract documents for traffic signals, signing, markings, maintenance of traffic, and ITS devices.
Responsibilities
Our Traffic Department works on projects within the mid-Atlantic region (PA, MD, DE, VA) and nationally. Our work is challenging and often at the industry’s forefront. Traffic engineers design signals, signage, markings, lighting, work zone control, and ITS devices; conduct safety and operations studies; and develop models using Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, and VISUM. Projects range from small intersection improvements to complex interchanges and multimodal plans.

Requirements
* B.S.C.E
* Relevant transportation engineering experience
* Effective communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple assignments
* Experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD; knowledge of Microsoft Office
* Positive attitude and teamwork skills
* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
