Expanding Technology company seeks its first Security Architect to join a security team of 7.
In this role, you will develop and maintain security blueprints and repeatable patterns, design processes, set up documentation, and design the overall security architecture for the company.
As number 2 in the Security team, you will mentor more junior staff and may have the opportunity to directly manage, if this is of interest to you.
The successful candidate will have strong expertise in network security, firewalls, and cloud security. Previous experience as a security architect is required, either in a consultancy or end user, and you should have good knowledge of ISO and NIST. Relevant certifications such as CISSP would be beneficial, but not required.
The role is based in Edinburgh, Newcastle or Reading 3 days a week, with 2 days working from home.
Salary £90k base + benefits.
