The Berkshire Careers Hub, part of The Skills and Business Hub, plays a key role in driving collaboration to improve careers education and opportunities for young people in the region. We work closely with businesses, educators, and stakeholders to empower young people to achieve their full potential while addressing local skills needs. Our aim is to foster a thriving ecosystem of careers guidance and employer engagement, aligned with local economic priorities.

The Berkshire Careers Hub has consistently supported schools, colleges, and employers in improving careers provision, with demonstrable success in helping institutions achieve and exceed the Gatsby Benchmarks. The Hub is supported by the national Careers and Enterprise Company and provides vital links between employers and education providers, ensuring that young people across Berkshire have access to meaningful career opportunities.
As an Enterprise Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:
* Support schools and colleges in developing and delivering high-quality careers programs.
* Build and nurture relationships with educational leaders, local businesses, and stakeholders to expand the network and create impactful partnerships.
* Collaborate on initiatives that align with local and national priorities, including tackling youth unemployment and addressing skills gaps.

The Role
The Enterprise Coordinator is a motivated individual who wants to contribute to making a difference to young people's employability in Berkshire.
The Careers & Enterprise Co-ordinator (EC) will sit at the heart of a local cluster system in order to help schools and colleges improve their careers and enterprise activities and to engage with the world of work. Working closely with the Operational Hub Lead, the EC will ensure the Careers Hub is embedded into the Skills and Business Hub's skills strategy and make it easier for employers and the self-employed to engage with schools and colleges. Through establishing the local and national contexts, the EC will focus everyone's efforts on programmes and activities that are most effective in motivating young people, supporting independent choice and positive outcomes for young people.
What we're looking for
* Proven experience in stakeholder engagement across education or business sectors.
* Strong project delivery skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
* A proactive, collaborative mindset with a passion for youth development.
* Degree-level education or equivalent; a driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
