Reporting the to CEO this role sits on the senior leadership team and therefore is an instrumental role for the continued growth of the business.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the Marketing, PR, Partnerships and Social Media functions optimize brand reputation and building in line with commercial revenues and strategies. Lead the Marketing Team and act as a guardian of communications for Colleagues, Customers, Partners, Agencies and Stakeholders, internally and externally. Responsible for planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies, in line with key disciplines across the business.
Day to Day duties of the role will include:
* Leadership of Marketing Team; development through mentoring, coaching and facilitation
* Drive culture change via Marketing and Communications, to create a customer-focused and values-led organisation
* Support the Marketing Team and Business Discipline Heads, to leverage maximum market share and achieve revenue and yield targets
* Optimize and leverage business relationships with all external parties.
* Responsible for Creative Agency across brand, design and marketing; and PR Agency across Corporate, Crisis and Consumer
* Lead all marketing programmes across HR, IT, Finance and Operations
* Develop, create, implement and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing and communications
* Ensure articulation of the desired image and position, and assure consistent communication throughout the client’s use of the service
* Coordinate media interest and ensure regular contact with target media and press, acting as the representative and spokesperson as appropriate
* Lead projects as assigned, such as cause-related marketing for corporate charity partners and corporate events for forums.
* Plan and budget across all assets of the marketing mix, with responsibility for the achievement of the marketing objectives within the financial remit

* Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising and appraising teams
* Successful experience writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating with media. Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications
The right candidates for this role will come from a string marketing background and have experience within retail/hospitality or services.
