Senior Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer - West Midlands- Up to £75,000 + Benefits - Ref 1865
I am currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer to work for a key client of mine based in the West Midlands. Salary up to £75,000 + Benefits.
The organisation has a fantastic reputation in the market and are seen as one of the leaders within sustainable energy design for the whole of the UK. They are pioneers within the space and are incredibly passionate about helping their customers achieve their Net Zero targets within their buildings and businesses. They work across a range of sectors including healthcare, education and industrial to name a few, but are constantly being approached to assist in other sectors.
To support the growth of the business and the major upcoming projects they now have the need to appoint a Senior Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer on a permanent basis.
In this role as a Senior Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out detailed designs of highly complex projects focused on becoming more sustainable. You will be expected to go to sites to conduct your own surveys, ensuring you're fully aware of the customer needs as well as capturing existing system details to which will enable you to design the projects effectively. You will be working in a multi-disciplined team of engineers all ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Senior Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer or similar
* Previous experience designing P&IDs, Piping, Pipework
* Experience doing equipment schedules
* Experience with RIBA stages 3-6
* Experience working to British Standards for a UK organisation
* Experience demonstrating the skills above across at least 10 projects.
A more intermediate Mechanical (Building Services) Engineer will still seriously be considered providing you can demonstrate that you have the necessary skill and experience in the above areas and can demonstrate this across at least 4 projects.
