Cover Supervisor Opportunities - Oldham Schools via Hays Education
Are you ready to step into the classroom and make a difference?Hays Education is working in partnership with a wide range of schools across Oldham, and after an incredibly busy year for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term cover, we're preparing for another high-demand academic year ahead.We're looking for confident and experienced Cover Supervisors to join our trusted supply network and support schools when it matters most.
Do You Have What It Takes?You don't need to be a qualified teacher-but we're especially keen to hear from candidates with experience managing groups of 10 or more young people aged 10-16 in settings such as:
* Sports teams or clubs
* Youth groups and holiday camps
* Community centres and outreach programmes
Your Role Will Include:
* Delivering pre-set lesson plans in the absence of the teacher
* Keeping pupils engaged and focused on learning
* Maintaining discipline and classroom behaviour
* Adjusting confidently to different schools and age groups
What You'll Bring:
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience with 10-16 year olds
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* A calm, flexible, and proactive mindset
* Availability for part-time or full-time assignments
