PMO Manager role at The Canadian Automobile Academy, Inc. (CITB). Location: Peterborough. Working pattern: Based in Peterborough with flexible working, subject to business requirements. Duration: 1 year fixed-term contract. Salary: SL2 – £67,162 per annum. Benefits include Car Allowance and 33 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).
We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join our Central Portfolio Office (CPO) to lead the Project Management Office (PMO) and Resource Management capability. You will work with delivery teams to provide high-quality PMO services and embed standard project delivery processes and Resource Management practices.

* Project and Programme Reporting and Performance Management
* Business Case and Financial Oversight
* Risk, Issue and Stakeholder Management
* Resource and Capability Management
* Best Practice, Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement
* Line management of PMO team members
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience in PMO leadership within a complex project or programme delivery environment, particularly in matrix environments
* Experience in PMO services including monitoring, tracking and reporting across milestones, risks, financials, dependencies and deliverables
* Experience in a structured project delivery environment following a standard framework
* Strong resource and demand management skills with ability to define new ways of working for resource and capacity management
* Proficient in project management and portfolio tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI, Project Online)
* Recognised PM qualification (PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner, or APMQ) or equivalent
* Analytical skills, highly organised, proactive, results-driven, able to work with ambiguity
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
Desirable
* Experience in a public sector or ALB environment
* Knowledge of UK government project delivery governance (GovS 002)
* Experience in benefits management and Centre of Excellence development
