We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our farm teamon a temporary contract for up to 3months. If you’re looking for a role that’s challenging, but where pay is rewarded on output, join us in the Kent countryside.
What does the job involve?
The role includes manually planting, harvesting, and maintaining crops (hand weeding), both on fields and in poly tunnels.
You will have good physical stamina to meet the minimum pick rate speed and will be a motivated self-starter. You will also have good dexterity to enable you to use your hands in a skilful, coordinated way when handling the crop and cutting appliances.
Due to the nature of this work, you will be willing and able to work in all weathers and be flexible to work 6 days per week between the hours of 6am & 6pm.
Key Skills / Experience
• Previous experience or an understanding of harvesting is desirable.
• Dependable and self-motivated
• Ability to work outside in all weathers
• Good dexterity
• Physical stamina
• Respecting of rules and regulations
Working hours
5+ days per week, 6am-6pm
Recruitment process
The interview process will include both an interview and a 4 hour work sample.
Pre employment checks will include a Drug & Alcohol test.
