Based in Whitstable, TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is working on behalf of a great local firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior Accountant to join their team in a general practice position across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT. Our client is a multi-sited firm of chartered accountants and they have been established in the Kent market for many years. They're looking for an Accounts Assistant/ Semi Senior or somebody who is studying the AAT or ACCA to join them in a progressive and rewarding career. Given the nature of the business, there are very good internal progression prospects on offer too. You will be responsible for:
1. Preparation of statutory accounts to review stage
2. Assisting with management accounts production
3. Personal taxation, corporate taxation and VAT returns
4. General bookkeeping duties using Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
5. Coaching and mentoring junior staff members and trainees
