Account Manager (Trade Shows & Events)
who thrives under tight deadlines, loves bold ideas, and enjoys seeing high-impact experiences come to life on the show floor.
As an Account Manager, you'll lead client relationships, manage projects from start to finish, and help shape memorable brand moments. You'll also play a key role in growing business opportunities, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating across teams to ensure our clients see us as their trusted partner — not just for today, but for the future.
What You'll Do
Client Leadership & Strategy
* Serve as the main point of contact for your clients, managing day-to-day communication and delivery.
* Work with internal and external teams to develop and implement marketing programmes and event strategies.
* Manage budgets, timelines, and expectations with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Provide strategic insights and proactive solutions that add value and enhance the client experience.
Project Management
* Oversee the delivery of client trade show programmes — including installation, dismantle, production, shipping, and on-site services.
* Develop detailed project plans, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all elements are aligned.
* Maintain all documentation: work orders, schedules, briefs, and other operational details that keep projects running smoothly.
* Liaise with venues and associations to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance.
Sales & Growth
* Build strong, long-term relationships with clients across multiple levels.
* Identify opportunities within existing accounts and support new business development.
* Contribute ideas, proposals, and participate in brainstorming sessions to win business.
Financial Oversight
* Monitor and manage client budgets, forecasts, and invoicing.
* Ensure all programme components are accurately reflected in quotes and billing.
* Maintain profitability while delivering exceptional client service.
Team Leadership
* Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and leading by example.
* Foster a collaborative and positive team culture, even in fast-paced environments.
* Support problem-solving and issue resolution across project teams.
What You Bring
* 3+ years' experience in account management, preferably in experiential marketing, events, or agency environments.
* Passion for client service and building lasting relationships.
* Strong project management skills — confident managing timelines, budgets, and expectations.
* Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and visual.
* Solutions-oriented mindset and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams, including creative, production, and logistics.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to travel (~20%) for client meetings, event installs, and business development.
