Credit Controller Location: West Midlands Contract: Permanent Salary: £24k-£30k Start Date: Flexible Contact: (url removed) Job Description Service Care Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a leading law firm in the West Midlands for a Credit Controller to join the team on a permanent basis. The postholder will be required to work in a team responsible for proactively managing and reducing debt. Key Responsibilities Reducing aged debt via management of debtor balances. Regular written and verbal contact with debtors once payments are overdue, and timely query resolutions. Taking and issuing receipts on-site and over the telephone. Posting items to ledgers. Preparing statements and breakdowns of accounts. Issuing Court proceedings for unpaid debts. Where necessary, helping wider accounts team with recording of receipts and payments, as well as processing of payments using HSBCnet.Candidate Criteria At least 2 years’ experience in credit control. Proficient in IT. Great communicator and negotiator. Excellent organisation and attention to detail. Knowledge of and ability to clearly explain financial matters. Able to work to deadlines.
