Responsibilities
* Assist in maintaining and updating the Data Privacy Framework to ensure compliance with relevant policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
* Support the Data Privacy Manager in ensuring the Data Asset Catalogue is comprehensive, up to date, and has clear ownership.
* Assist in the implementation and oversight of procedures and controls necessary to manage data assets effectively.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to build strong relationships and support the Data Management Practice Leads.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Data Privacy Hub based on OneTrust.
* Support the enhancement of data privacy controls to ensure risks are managed within the organization’s risk appetite by defining and reporting on key metrics.
* Support the implementation of access controls, anonymization, and obfuscation processes.
* Contribute and lead data retention and minimization processes and programs.
* Assist in any other GDPR principle‑focused workstreams that emerge.
* Proactively pick up and run with pieces of work, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver effective privacy outcomes.
Qualifications
* Good understanding of data privacy principles and regulatory requirements.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and controls.
* Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to define and report on key metrics.
* Experience in Data Management or Privacy within the financial sector would be preferred, but not essential.
* Relevant certifications in data privacy or data protection (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) would be advantageous.
