Lecturer in Civil Engineering
Location: Stafford College
Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week
Salary: £32,136 – £42,848 per annum

Responsibilities
* Deliver lively and interactive teaching, learning and assessment to an outstanding standard on a range of programmes (full-time, part-time and HE) in BTEC Advanced Civil Engineering and T Level Engineering.
* Secure outstanding success for all learners and ensure targets for recruitment, retention, achievement, attendance and progression are met.
* Engage in core duties including preparation, marking, monitoring student progress, preparing reports, setting and marking examination papers, and developing and preparing flexible learning materials.
* Act as a course tutor for a group of students and undertake duties associated with this pastoral role.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant degree in Engineering, particularly Civil Engineering, and equivalent higher technical expertise.
* Teaching qualification (DTLLS, PGCE or equivalent) or willingness to study for one.
* Industry experience with current knowledge and the ability to meet industry standards.
* Well-organised with the ability to manage varied workload peaks and troughs.
