Our Farm
Our family-owned farm is 5 miles west of Newark, covering 650 acres. Our herd comprises 550 Holstein cows and 300 replacements, producing 4 million litres. The herd is milked twice a day through a 24:48 GEA parlour, with the milk supplied on a premium cheese contract. The farm is well set up for grazing, from March to November, with excellent tracks and water infrastructure. We operate a split block calving system, with 250 cows in the spring and 300 in the summer/autumn. Our infrastructure has 550 cubicles with troughs, automatic scraping, head yokes, and good handling facilities.
