Overview
Customer Delivery Driver/Picker role at apetito UK. This position is 16 hours per week, with any 2 shifts in 6 days including bank holidays. The role involves delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and providing excellent customer service, while working in a -20ºC coldstore. Protective clothing is provided, with breaks to warm up. You will be part of a wider team, with opportunities for movement between teams and personal development.
Salary: £12.60 per hour + bonus + company benefits. Wiltshire Farm Foods is part of the apetito group, the UK\'s largest ready-meal supplier.

Responsibilities
* Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
* Pick orders within the coldstore
* Use our app to update customers\' deliveries
* Provide exceptional customer service at all times
* Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
* Drive safely, responsibly and within the law
* Clean and refuel your van as needed
* Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
* Ensure customer confidentiality
* Assist the office team and picking team when required
* Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
* Assist the team if another member is absent or on holiday
* Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
Essential
* Experience within a customer service-based role
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
* Evidence of work stability
* Basic secondary education
Desirable
* Experience of multi-drop delivery role
* Experience within a care-based role
* Warehouse experience
* Health & Safety awareness

You must have held a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years.

As this role involves working with elderly and vulnerable customers, it is exempt from The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a basic DBS Disclosure.
