Role Overview:
As the Indirect Category Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end indirect procurement operations for EBIT and our clients, ensuring stakeholder alignment and high-quality delivery. You will manage the day-to-day stakeholder management, identification and planning of sourcing activities, leading supplier selection and negotiation efforts with the support of the LogicSource (our US Strategic Partner) Centre of Excellence resources. You will determine the sourcing strategy for the relevant Categories, restructure the supply base where advantageous, investigating demand management opportunities (SKU rationalization, consumption reduction, compliance enhancement); delivering market intelligence on trends, pricing, innovation, and supply risks, report on and manage vendor performance, as well as being the primary point of contact for supplier performance issues for the in-scope categories. You shall build and manage a dynamic procurement project pipeline aligned with client goals. Facilitate effective communication between suppliers and internal teams. Adhere to governance processes, securing necessary approvals and minimising risk. Anticipate risks and opportunities, crafting forward-looking action plans to hit cost, productivity and service targets. Collaborating across time zones and aligning with cross-functional team members in the USA, UK, EU, and Asia to implement new systems and resolve issues.

* Total Package range: £70,000 - £95,000
* Working Pattern: a minimum of 3 days per week on site

What We’re Looking For:
A highly experienced Procurement professional to own the full sourcing lifecycle, developing category strategies, managing a global supplier base, driving high-value negotiations, and delivering procurement transformation with significant senior-level procurement experience, with deep expertise across corporate services categories like contingent labour, legal, marketing, travel, and benefits as well as wider indirects. You’ll have managed substantial global spend, demonstrated strong stakeholder engagement, confidently influencing at C-suite level and possess excellent organisational, analytical, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and contract/legal review skills are key, as is the ability to consult and collaborate across internal stakeholders and external teams across time zones to analyse spend, identify demand management opportunities, and provide market intelligence with gravitas. You’re commercially astute, relationship-focused, solutions-driven, adaptable, and meticulous in time management. Desirable qualities include prior experience in a procurement service provider or interim role, broad exposure across all indirect spend categories, and a strong interest or background in the energy sector are advantageous. A UK driving licence is required.
