Overview
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Camden to assist with the appointment of a Caretaker - Non Resident, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at client’s discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £16.43 - £21.48 per hour
Responsibilities
* Carry out day-to-day cleaning, caretaking, and minor maintenance duties within housing estates.
* Ensure communal areas, including stairwells, lifts, entrances, and outdoor spaces, are kept clean, safe, and hazard-free.
* Monitor health and safety risks on site and take prompt action to address or report hazards.
* Safely handle, store, and use cleaning chemicals in line with COSHH regulations.
* Carry out minor repairs and report any significant repairs or maintenance needs.
Knowledge
* Understanding of Health and Safety requirements, including risk awareness.
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
* Basic maintenance and repair knowledge (desirable).
Experience
* Minimum six months experience in caretaking, facilities, cleaning, or estate management.
* Experience in working independently and taking initiative.
* Experience of delivering customer service to residents or the public.
