You will ensure that the Kitchen and F&B areas are operating to the highest health and safety standards. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the Stewarding team and performing general cleaning duties in accordance with the standards established in the Department Operations Manual.
Other responsibilities include handling operating and kitchen equipment with care to minimize breakage, having a thorough understanding of all cleaning procedures, using dishwashing machines, and knowing the appropriate chemicals to use. You will also ensure that all Kitchen areas and other back-of-house Food and Beverage areas are cleaned to clearly defined standards and schedules.
You will work on a shift rota basis. Due to the nature of the business, particularly during busy periods, you will be expected to work overtime when required.
Qualifications
About you:
You will have previous hotel experience in a similar role or a strong background in Stewarding. You will have a positive and professional approach with good communication skills.
