Overview:
We are currently seeking a Quarry Operative to join our team at Temple Quarry.
As a Quarry Operative, you will be primarily responsible for the safe loading of lorries and stockpile.
What we need from you…
* To comply with all Company Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and policies
* To operate and monitor equipment in a safe and efficient manner
* To perform or assist with preventative maintenance and pre-shift inspections, repair and/ or clean equipment as required
* Load lorries and ensure stockpiles are at the correct levels
* To support the housekeeping of plant, equipment, and site
* To comprehend and complete paperwork associated with this role in a timely and accurate manner
* To undertake any other duties within the quarry reasonably requested in support of site operations
What we need from you…
Essential Criteria
* Previous knowledge and experience of working with plant and equipment in a construction environment.
* Ability to operate mobile plant
* Ability to work in a team
* Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs – to include early, late and weekend shifts
* Ability to multi-task
Desirable Criteria
* Knowledge and / or experience of operating within a quarry environment.
* Mechanical, hands-on background
