Start Date: Immediate Hours: 8:45am - 12:15pm (Monday to Friday) Location: Bilston We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic EYFS Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our team part-time. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage and help them thrive in a nurturing, stimulating environment. Key Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum. Assist with planning and preparing engaging activities that promote learning through play. Provide one-to-one and small group support to children, ensuring individual needs are met. Help with the development of children's language, social, and motor skills. Monitor and record children's progress, contributing to observations and assessments. Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming learning environment. Support with daily routines including snack time, toileting, and transitions. Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Essential Requirements Previous experience working in an EYFS or nursery setting. Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. Relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent). Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage routines and behaviour positively. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
