Availability Window: Days From Time To time Mon 13:00:00 21:00:00 Fri 15:00:00 23:00:00 Sat 15:00:00 23:00:00. Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It is our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we would like you to be available to work: the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you will have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues; if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we would still love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Work across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Put training into practice to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Make decisions right for customers and deliver routines that meet customer needs at the right time.
* Take part in seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Be knowledgeable about store performance and your part in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit.
* Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in the best condition.
* Be yourself, live Tesco values, make everyone feel welcome, and follow policies.
* Occasionally you may be required to accept deliveries into the store.
