Energy and Carbon Project Lead (Commercial Property Focus)
Salary: £49,500 - £52,835 (P3 band, upper end includes performance-related pay)
Start Date: Conditional offer allows start within 2-3 weeks
Location: Hybrid (on-site typically one day per week)
Mileage: 45p per mile for site visits

Panoramic Associates are supporting a local authority to recruit an Energy and Carbon Project Lead to oversee sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives across their commercial property estate. This is a strategic role focused on project delivery, lifecycle planning, and technical leadership on carbon reduction schemes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead building-related energy and carbon projects across the operational estate
* Act as subject matter expert on sustainability and building systems
* Oversee lifecycle maintenance, budgeting, and procurement for energy schemes
* Support contract management
* Review energy-related business cases and ensure compliance with legislation and the council's Energy Strategy
* Identify and deliver efficiency and cost-saving opportunities across the estate
Candidate Requirements:
* Background in Environmental, Engineering, Building Services, or Construction
* Experience with sustainability and building management systems
* Understanding of contract management processes
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach
* Cultural fit is key - technical skills can be developed if needed
