I am looking for one or two reliable, friendly and caring Personal Assistants (PAs) to join my small care team and support me with daily living tasks. I am a 52‑year‑old man who lives with my family. I enjoy shopping, watching sport on TV, have a passion for real ale, and support Bristol City Football Club. I’m looking for both support with personal care and companionship to access the community and enjoy social activities. A person‑centred approach, good sense of humour, and passion for disability rights are essential.
Essential Criteria
* Hold a full UK driving licence (you will be expected to drive my accessible vehicle; training provided, insurance covered)
* Be dependable, caring and respectful
* Be comfortable providing personal care
* Be a non‑smoker (no vaping)
* Be up to date with COVID‑19 vaccinations
* Be willing to obtain a DBS check
* Previous care experience is helpful but not essential
Hours & Pay
Day shifts: 17 hours per week (days/times to be agreed) - £12.40/hour
Night shifts: 4 nights per week (Mon–Thurs, 10pm–6am) - £97.68 per shift
All positions are paid through PAYE (not cash in hand) and include pro‑rata holiday entitlement and mileage allowance.
