Transport Manager

Reporting into the Head of Transport, we’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and passionate Transport Manager to join our leadership team based at one of our regional depots currently located in Huntingdon, Cambridge.
You will have responsibility for our western fleet of vehicles ensuring total compliance to all driver rules and regulations. You will conduct regular audits, provide infringement feedback with opportunities to learn, provide KPIs on vehicle compliance, maintain and create relationships with local suppliers for fleet maintenance, monitor and intervene in driver compliance and ensure operator’s licence is fully maintained and accurate.
To be successful for this role, you will be comfortable at getting your sleeves rolled up and getting stuck in – this is a critical role to the business ensuring the depot and staff in which you are based and the vehicles you are responsible for are compliant without exception.
Who are we looking for:
· Transport Manager CPC Qualification
· At least 5 years’ experience in a fast-moving company with responsibility for a sizeable fleet
· Experience and knowledge of logistical planning
· At least 5 years’ experience of interpreting and applying compliance legislation
