Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

21. 3 Ladies and 2 gentlemen live in this service,
22. Our ages vary from 22 to 68, so we have a variety of different life experience, personalities, routines and habits.
23. We have different communication skills/difficulties from people who are nonverbal to people who will talk your ear off. Wendy and timothy are nonverbal so need a little more time for people to communicate with us.
24. We love to have a bit of banter and a good laugh.
25. Staff are all trained and coached in mandatory care skills such as first aid, fire safety and moving and positioning to name a few.
26. Littleburn is a very active service but can also be quiet, as we all enjoy going out but also enjoy relaxing watching films.
27. We all enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee.
28. We live in a beautiful Dorma bungalow.
29. All the rooms are tailored to the people we support likes, needs and tastes.
30. We have a shared lounge where we have a tv which has a Netflix account which is share between everyone.
31. We have a shared kitchen which if always full of food, drink and laughter.
32. Mary enjoys cooking and making cakes and timothy likes to play with the bubbles in the sink.
33. 3 core staff during the day, 1 nightshift and 1 sleep in.
34. Our shifts vary, we have 8am – 9pm, 8am – 8pm day shift.
35. 8am – 10pm – 8am sleep-in.
36. 9pm – 8am nightshift.
