This role sits within our Water and Wastewater MEICA Specialists team, operating in high-risk environments including confined spaces and rope access work at height. The team delivers bespoke engineering solutions and supports large-scale capital programmes designed to keep water infrastructure resilient for the long term while protecting the environment. What Will You Be Doing? As a Senior SHE Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring all operational activities comply with company, client, and legislative requirements. You will drive a culture of continuous improvement across safety, health, and environmental performance, supporting operational teams to maintain the highest standards. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring compliance with SHE and CDM regulations across operational activities Supporting proactive risk management and continuous improvement initiatives Delivering engaging SHE training, inductions, and awareness campaigns Providing technical SHE guidance to operational and engineering teams Conducting site inspections, audits, and identifying non-conformances Recommending and implementing preventative and corrective actions Leading incident investigations and root cause analysis Monitoring SHE performance trends and supporting targeted interventions Maintaining a visible presence on site to promote a positive reporting culture Supporting competency development and professional growth within teams What You'll Bring Essential Experience & Skills Strong understanding of SHE legislation, codes of practice, and their application within construction and engineering environments Experience working within complex design and MEICA environments, including confined space operations Knowledge of business management systems, contract requirements, and client procedures Ability to conduct audits, site inspections, and manage non-conformance processes Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proactive and collaborative approach to health, safety, and environmental management Qualifications NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, relevant degree, or equivalent NVQ qualification Full UK driving licence What's in It for You?
