My client is a leading professional association in the healthcare sector, which offers clinical leadership, lifelong learning and international collaboration, and sets standards that shape the future of health worldwide. We are now seeking a Transformation Lead to drive a major programme of change across their educational events and courses portfolio.
This is a rare opportunity to combine academic insight, strategic leadership, and educational design expertise to deliver a world-class learning offer for medical professionals.
The role
Reporting to the Director of Events and Exhibition Sales, you will lead the development and implementation of a new strategic framework for educational excellence — one that is research-informed, scalable and sustainable.
Your focus will be on designing a future-facing events and courses portfolio that integrates pedagogical innovation, global accessibility, and commercial sustainability.
You will:
* Design and implement a new product development cycle informed by educational theory, learner feedback and market intelligence
* Lead a comprehensive review of their events and courses to ensure academic rigour, coherence and measurable learning impact
* Develop and launch a scalable franchise model — establishing quality assurance systems, training standards and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across UK and international partners
* Advise on pricing and partnership frameworks that balance accessibility with financial viability
* Modernise governance and volunteer engagement models, embedding transparent, efficient decision-making structures
* Act as a strategic advisor on educational design and innovation, guiding the team to embed evidence-based approaches to learning
About you
You will be an accomplished education leader with experience designing or managing academic or professional learning programmes — ideally within a university, medical college or professional membership context.
You bring:
* Proven expertise in educational design and curriculum development, with an understanding of adult learning principles and assessment models
* Experience of developing scalable education or training frameworks, such as franchises, partnerships or accredited programmes
* Strong analytical, planning and project management skills
* The ability to influence, collaborate and engage across complex stakeholder networks
* A strategic mindset with a commitment to quality, innovation and impact
