Contract Type: Permanent
A Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor is required to join a major organisation based in the South East on a permanent basis. The Commercial Infrastructure Solicitor will join an established in-house legal team and handle work of national significance.
The successful candidate will benefit from flexible working but must attend the office in the South East at least once a week.
This role is ideal for someone with experience managing and negotiating Private Finance Initiative (PFI) contracts, including performance monitoring, risk assessment, and stakeholder liaison across public and private sectors.
The candidate should have a strong understanding of PFI contract lifecycle management, especially contract handback, asset condition assessment, and compliance with obligations.
Experience in construction law or public procurement is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities include:
* Advising on engineering and construction matters related to infrastructure projects
* Managing PFI contracts lifecycle
* Drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts
* Guidance on procurement regulations and policies
* Handling legal matters, contentious or not
