Oracle Fusion Finance Systems Analyst - Insurance - London, City
Hybrid working - 3 days onsite, 2 days remotely
Joining this Insurance Company as an Oracle Fusion Finance Data Analyst you will be responsible for maintaining and developing financial reports, preparing detailed financial records, and analysing current and future reporting needs.
Key responsibilities:-
* Design, build and maintain financial and operational reports using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI, and Smart View, based on user requirements
* Deliver ad-hoc reporting supporting the Finance Team
* Maintain and update reporting tables, views, and replications within the Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW)
* Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, validate data integrity, and support business insight
* Lead and participate in ad-hoc data cleansing and data-fixing initiatives, such as supplier merges, multicurrency balance corrections, and pre-payment adjustments
* Support the development and enhancement of Finance Systems
Key skills/experience:-
* Experience supporting the maintenance of accounting systems in the Insurance or Financial Services industry is essential
* Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP (Finance modules) is Essential
* Advanced Smart View skills, especially for financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting templates
* Solid SQL skills to be able to write SQL scripts from Oracle (Fusion and ADW) and building reports on user input
* Strong proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for report building, dashboards, and data modelling
* Hands-on experience with Oracle BI/OTBI including subject area analysis and custom report creating
* Understanding of ADW table, views and data structures
* Ability to analyse large and complete datasets, identify patterns, and produce insights
