SEMH Support Assistant – Alternative Provision (Northumberland)
Location: Northumberland
Contract: Full-time / Part-time
Start: Immediate
Pay: £89.38–£110 per day (PAYE)
This role is for those who don’t give up easily. We’re working with an alternative provision supporting pupils with SEMH needs who benefit from calm, consistent adults around them.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs
* Helping pupils regulate emotions and behaviour
* Building positive, trusting relationships
* Supporting learning inside and outside the classroom
What we’re looking for:
* Experience with SEMH or behaviour support
* Resilience, patience and a sense of humour
* A calm and confident presence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
