Accounts Manager – maternity cover (12 month fixed term contract)
Location: Horsham office
We are recruiting an Accounts Manager to cover maternity leave. The role will focus on preparing statutory accounts for audit, with the majority of clients in the not-for-profit sector. This is an opportunity to join a growing team.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a team preparing statutory accounts for audit from trial balance under FRS102 and Charity SORP
* Preparation and review of consolidated accounts
* Dealing with regulatory disclosure requirements
* Supervision of seniors and assistants who are involved in production and delivery of work
* Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients
What we're looking for
* Experience with full FRS 102 and FRS 102 1a accounts and Charity SORP
* Experience of preparation of group accounts and consolidations preferred
* ACA/ACCA qualified
* Enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude
* Team player who can work independently when required
* Ability to prioritise; every day is different
