Job Description:

About the Company: Our client is a privately owned, well-established Freight Forwarder with links across Europe and Scandinavia. They pride themselves on offering first-class services in domestic and international road haulage, warehousing, and distribution.

About the Role: As the European Sales & Operations Manager, you will drive sales growth across Europe. Your responsibilities include prospecting new clients, developing relationships, and generating leads that convert into new business for freight forwarding services.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute a sales strategy for the European territory.
* Identify and qualify potential clients through lead generation.
* Research target accounts to understand their needs.
* Present the value proposition of our solutions.
* Negotiate contracts and pricing.
* Build and maintain relationships across Europe.
* Coordinate with operations for onboarding new clients.
* Analyze sales metrics and improve performance.
* Stay informed on industry trends and competitors.

Operations Management:

* Oversee freight forwarding operations across Europe.
* Ensure compliance with trade regulations and laws.
* Optimize processes for efficiency and cost reduction.
* Collaborate with global teams for alignment.
* Manage vendor and carrier relationships.

Qualifications & Skills:

* 3-5 years in sales/business development in logistics/freight forwarding.
* Proven sales record in B2B environment.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Strong negotiation and relationship skills.
* Deep knowledge of the European logistics market.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Time management and organizational skills.
* Driver’s license and willingness to travel in Europe.
