Job Description
My client are seeking a Legal Assistant to join their Wills and Probate team providing comprehensive support to a Private Client Solicitor.
Key duties will include:
1. Managing telephone calls and emails
2. Providing administrative support to the Wills and Probate Department e.g., scanning, faxing, photocopying
3. Opening and maintaining files
4. Preparing paperwork and obtaining checks.
5. Preparing letters to clients
6. Booking appointments and managing a diary system
7. Dictation
8. Drafting wills
9. Preparing bills and invoices
Legal Assistant - The Candidate
10. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 12 months legal experience although this does not have to be in private client.
11. You will be an organised and competent administrator with the ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
12. You will have initiative and be self motivated but equally able to follow clear instructions.
13. Strong communication skills are essential.
