Offer description

Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people from accessing the support they need to live a valued life. We address poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support services.

We have nearly 200 services across England, supported by around 3,500 staff and volunteers. Annually, our services assist approximately 125,000 individuals.

As we integrate two large organizations, some roles may still be branded under 'Humankind'. We are working to unify our systems and processes, including recruitment, which remains separate for now.

Recovery Outreach Worker

Location: Carlisle & Penrith

Contract: Permanent

At Waythrough, we are proud to be one of England’s successful home-grown charities, providing free, confidential support for those facing challenges with alcohol, drugs, housing, or mental health. Our local hubs across the UK are committed to offering fair chances for all, believing everyone deserves support to reach their full potential.

Joining our passionate, values-driven team means more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
