PURPOSE: Accountable for delivery of equipment implementation projects and programmes at NCP, with focus on the creation of new products and services for NCP customers and new functionality from internal systems, in collaboration with the Head of function in Technology. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for: As responsible for delivering the projects which contain parking equipment and ANPR camera installation and related to parking service operations, design, plan and deliver practical, cost-effective transformation programmes designed to achieve NCP's strategic objectives. In promoting the project, the role will be responsible for the following areas: Consideration of a new parking operational solutions utilising parking equipment and ANPR cameras to solve existing issues, and project management for planning and implementation of the realisation of these solutions. Other roles include representing the Technology department in conjunction with NCP Commercial and Operations reps to - Reviewing and improving the parking services offered to customers. Ensuring more consistent service delivery. - Hearing and coordinating requirements from the Commercial and Operations department. - Proposing solutions and implementing projects to improve revenue and operational efficiency. Key relationships: With business stakeholders, sponsors, Project Managers, end users, and other business support functions. Accountable for project delivery and establish internal and external benchmarks and appropriate KPI's as the basis for demonstrating the quality and effectiveness of delivery. Accountable for managing risks, issues, changes, and escalations. Determine and implement solutions and mitigating actions where necessary. Financial responsibility for project expenditure, including establishing budgets, monitoring spends and re-forecasting on a regular basis to highlight any potential issues. Responsible for forming and managing effective relationships with business stakeholders. PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications: Degree and professional qualification, or equivalent experience Knowledge: Technical awareness to manage projects with a high degree of technology content. Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base Appreciation of how the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of the project. Financial and cost management. Ranging from; low level detailed cost/spend analysis, benefits realisation, to high level project and programme level spend. Skills, abilities & competencies: Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience of dealing with internal, external and third-party supplier senior level decision makers. Commercial awareness and drive. Strong awareness is required to firmly ground all projects and ensure spend and benefits are constantly tracked and articulated clearly. People management and leadership. Experience in dealing with teams of project managers and business analysts and ability provide steer and guide through each stage of the project lifecycle. Experience: A dynamic and motivated individual with basic knowledge of IT, including infrastructure and networking, programming and application development. At least seven years' project coordination and project management experience, with more than two years involved in the implementation of parking equipment software, ANPR camera, or equivalent knowledge is desirable. With project management experience, with excellent coordination skills and the ability to involve stakeholders in the project. Other skills required include the ability to explain and present complex technical information in an easy-to-understand manner to a variety of audiences.
