Job Summary
The NWL Training Hub is an organisation providing an enabling training and workforce function to the primary care workforce of the NW London geography. The manager this JD describes is the leader of that function. NWL's population is complex and very varied, as is its workforce, which is also very dispersed, reflecting the fact that it includes over 330 autonomous GP practices.
Main Duties of the Job
Key Deliverables
* Delivering NWL Training Hub contractual responsibilities to NHSE and the NW London ICB and other stakeholders.
* Ensuring a professional, efficient, high-quality Training Hub with effective business processes supporting training and development across NW London.
* Optimising training and workforce resources into the Training Hub, including developing business cases and innovating funding initiatives.
* Collaborating across boroughs to meet primary care training needs equitably and eliminating inequalities.
* Leading governance processes to facilitate collaborative decision-making.
* Developing strategic relationships with NHS bodies, educational establishments, and partners to further Training Hub objectives and raise funds.

Job Details
Post: NWL Training Hub Director
Salary: £80,000 to £90,000 per year
Type: Permanent, Part-time, Flexible working
Location: Uxbridge, Middlesex
Responsibilities
Includes developing training strategies, managing teams, coordinating training programs, stakeholder engagement, monitoring and evaluation, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and workforce oversight.
Person Specification
Essential: Experience in primary care, program planning, workforce issues, budgeting, team management, negotiation, and strategic leadership. Desirable: Workforce initiatives experience, knowledge of national agendas, business process improvement, and data work. Qualifications: Recognized training or L&D qualification preferred.
