Are you a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Planner, seeking a 6 month Fixed Term contract?
Working as an Engineering Planning Manager as part of a highly skilled and established engineering team, you’ll maximise plant reliability and performance to ensure our high standards of quality are achieved and to meet customers’ expectations. Managing the preventative maintenance system, you’ll ensure overall equipment efficiency, reducing downtime and damage.
As our Engineering Planning Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of effective maintenance support to the site. You’ll work collaboratively with Reliability Managers and Engineering site leads to plan and schedule all maintenance activities, including backlog, spares, and materials. Additionally, you’ll support plant criticality reviews, review maintenance plans, establish critical spares, and be the key user for the site SAP PM maintenance system and reporting.
You’ll ensure stock is available for planned maintenance and that contractors work safely in line with risk assessments.
The Role
* Planning and scheduling of a risk-based maintenance strategy
* Planning shutdowns and follow-on works
* Ensure data integrity within the CMMS system (SAP)
* Anticipate and ensure availability of materials for work orders
* Evaluate the effectiveness of planned performance maintenance tasks based on KPIs
* Maintain service contracts/external supplier relationships and review supplier effectiveness
* Control contractors - RAMS
* Experience as an Engineering Planner
* Experience of contractor and stores management
* IT knowledge – proficient in relevant software including Microsoft Office and SAP
* Analysing and problem-solving skills – anticipate problems, take corrective steps, and identify underlying issues with appropriate solutions
* H&S knowledge (e.g., IOSH) – ensure a safe working environment
* Excellent communication skills – articulate and develop effective, long-term relationships with key stakeholders
