This is a pivotal leadership role overseeing the operational hub, based in Birmingham. You will take full responsibility for transport operations, fleet compliance, route planning, and day‑to‑day delivery performance across both sites. Description Oversee daily route planning and delivery operations across the Birmingham hub. Utilise TMS and routing systems to ensure customer requirements, time windows and weight limits are met. Monitor OTIF performance, temperature control, POD completion and investigate any discrepancies. Manage senior drivers, ensuring smooth daily operations, effective debriefs and adherence to process. Ensure full legal fleet compliance, daily driver checks and timely repair or hire of vehicles when required. Conduct driver spot checks, oversee seasonal resource planning and liaise with agencies for cover. Maintain strong communication with the London transport team, ACMs and all hub staff.
